    A 10k Snowshoe Race to Benefit The New Land Trust, Saranac, NY

    Sunday January 20, 2013 at 10:00 AM

    $150 cash prize for top overall female and male finishers

     

    One of the Northeast’s regional qualifiers for the 2013 USSSA National Snowshoe Championships held in Bend Oregon, this race makes use of rolling trails that cover most of Saranac, New York’s New Land Trust’s 287 scenic acres.  http://www.newlandtrust.org/  Proceeds from the event will benefit The New Land Trust, which is a non-governmental, not for profit organization dedicated to developing and sustaining this property for health of the environment and the enjoyment of the public.  The $15 entry fee ($20 day-of) will get you a super comfy t-shirt (only guaranteed to those who pre-register), merchandise raffle eligibility, post race refreshments, and entry into the best snowshoe race ever held.
